Adoma's AfriCrafts is dedicated to producing artistic creations based on Ghanaian Adinkra symbols. The inspiration for our products comes from the many designs and emblems typical of Ghana and her artists.

    Ghana is located just a few degrees north of the Equator on West Africa's Gulf of Guinea. It is a country with legends, folk tales, and rich history dating back to the early 14th Century. There are several rites and rituals that are performed throughout the year in various parts of the country. To the majority of people, these celebrations provide all that is satisfying to their communities and families, and the Adinkra symbols are an integral part of this rich culture.

    We are pleased to offer a small portion of Adinkra symbols which have deep traditional and contemporary significance to the Akan ethnic groups in Ghana. These symbols reflect a system of human values that are common to peoples of all nations: integrity, family, tolerance, determination, harmony, and protection, just to name a few.
